Unlike Vintage Porto, which has to be made from grapes from a single harvest, Porto Crusted gives the company the opportunity to use the best characteristics of different vintages.
Crusted Porto is bottled without filtering, and as the name implies it forms a 'crust', a sediment in the bottle, and thus, like Vintage, it needs to be decanted before drinking.
